For the LT1-powered Camaro SS, oil temperature and oil pressure are useful readings alongside coolant temperature. This page does not cover the supercharged ZL1’s LT4 engine.

What to monitor on this engine
Put coolant temperature, oil temperature and oil pressure together for the LT1 V8. For an automatic Camaro SS, transmission-fluid temperature is another useful display choice.
Installation approach
Connect through the diagnostic port under the instrument panel and secure the adapter away from pedals. A 52mm display should be mounted where it adds a clear reading without covering the factory instrument cluster.
Start with standard OBD-II readings such as coolant temperature or RPM, then add custom manufacturer-specific PIDs in the gauge settings. You can also connect wired sensors to display additional measurements.
