F-450 entries refer to Super Duty chassis-cab applications. Select the 6.0L engine entry rather than the later 6.4L diesel.

For an F-350 working with a trailer or payload, build the monitoring screen around sustained load rather than brief acceleration.

What to monitor on this engine

Coolant temperature and RPM are practical first readings for this engine. Add intake-air temperature for a view of intake heat under repeated load. If you display pressure, keep absolute manifold pressure distinct from boost relative to atmosphere.

Installation approach

Locate the display where it remains readable while using towing mirrors, with cable slack kept away from the steering and parking-brake controls. Fit the mount from your normal seating position before fixing it in place.

Connect the OBD-II adapter at the vehicle diagnostic connector and secure its cable along fixed trim. Leave the connector accessible for servicing. Follow the Flock user manual for gauge power, adapter setup and wired-sensor connections.

OBD-II and wired readings

Choose standard OBD-II readings such as coolant temperature, RPM, intake-air temperature and vehicle speed in the gauge menu. Use wired sensors when you want an independent oil-temperature, oil-pressure or boost measurement.

Configure your gauge

The gauge displays whole-number OBD readings. For temperature definitions labeled C, use the gauge’s temperature preference to choose Celsius or Fahrenheit.
