For a BRZ, keep warm-up and sustained engine heat visible on the street or at a track session.

What to monitor on this engine

Coolant temperature and RPM are practical first readings for this engine. Oil temperature and pressure are useful additions for warm-up and sustained engine load; a wired sensor provides a separate measurement route. An automatic-transmission temperature reading belongs to the automatic gearbox; it should not be labeled as a manual-gearbox reading.

Installation approach

Check a compact mount from the low seating position and preserve room around the manual shifter. Fit the mount from your normal seating position before fixing it in place.

Connect the OBD-II adapter at the vehicle diagnostic connector and secure its cable along fixed trim. Leave the connector accessible for servicing. Follow the Flock user manual for gauge power, adapter setup and wired-sensor connections.
